Dave has spent the last 47 years involved in the Plumbing and HVAC contracting business. From starting as a helper to teaching classes in a union apprenticeship program and then owning and operating a full service contracting business the last 47 years have been a true learning experience. In 2017 Dave was awarded the Chairman's Award by National Comfort Institute in recognition of his commitment to the HVAC industry.

On top of running a business Dave served for 9 ½ years on his local City Council with 6 of those years as the Mayor. During the years in business Dave served on the founding board of a Boy's and Girl's Club which expanded to serve a resort community 40 miles away while Dave was board President. During the same time Dave also served on the advisory board of a locally owned bank and later on the Board of Directors for the same bank.

Having sold the business in 2015 and working for that business for 3 years as a consultant he now resides in Grand Junction Colorado with his wife Linda.
