TABLE OF CONTENTS    PREFACE  PART 1    Discourses 1-158 were written while the author was involved with various churches, Bible study groups, home groups and fellowships in Minnesota.  PART 2  Discourses 159-171 were written while the author was in Idaho participating with various churches, Bible study groups, home groups and fellowships.  PART 3  Discourses 172-281 were written while the author was living on his boat in Boot Key Harbor, Marathon, in the Florida Keys and attending various churches and Bible studies in the Keys as well as Bible studies with the boating community in Boot Key Harbor.  PART 4  Discourses 282 and beyond were written where the author is currently residing on his boat in LaBelle in SW Florida, attending various churches and spreading the gospel among individuals and groups with whom he comes into contact.  Most of the later discourses were written as revelation came from the Lord while the author was reading and meditating on the Bible, or as inspiration came through life interactions into which the Lord led him.  INDEX  THE AUTHOR

The revelation of mysteries and metaphors contained in this compilation of writings comes primarily from a Spiritual point of view which originally inspired them, before the institutions of carnal wisdom and intelligence were established to train, certify and endorse those who they deemed qualified to lead the less educated.  This book is for those who may not have found the righteousness and truth for which their soul hungers and thirsts, that is so frequently described and promised in the Scriptures.  Join the author, Rusty Smith, inside these pages to partake in the journey given to him from the Lord as we view the word together in, A Watchman Speaks.   

THE AUTHOR

My awareness of the journey with the Creator began at the age of 25 in the year, 1972, at which time the Holy Spirit began to open the Scriptures. I soon saw errors and untruths that I had been taught by various religious sources of instruction. The revelation of truth has been sometimes slow in coming but has accelerated in recent years. My actual writing began 20 or so years ago. I have had but three people who have helped me with typing and editing in that time. Life has had many ups and downs, but the Lord is faithful.

In recent years the Lord has brought the most precious friend and helper of this journey into my life. Sherry has typed, re-edited and inspired this work for several years now. Without her help I do not see how this publication could have been completed. Some writings Sherry has authored herself are also contained at the end of the book.
